Amplifiles, the Finnish PropTech company whose AI turns real estate listing photos into finished marketing videos, has raised a seed round led by Gorilla Capital. The Tampere-based startup, now used by real estate professionals in more than 75 countries, will put the funding toward a single goal: making video a standard part of marketing every home, not a luxury reserved for the priciest listings. The round was also joined by Innovestor, Proptech Capitals and angel investors.
Video sells homes, but producing it for every listing has been too slow and too expensive. Amplifiles removes that barrier by working from photos agents already have. Upload the photos from a shoot you have already done, and the AI returns a finished listing video with voice-over, captions and branding, ready for MLS (the listing databases agents publish through) and social media. No film crew, no editing, no second shoot.
"Video in real estate has been a luxury product. A million dollar listing gets a film crew, a regular home gets twenty photos, and the main reason is production cost," says Tommi Keränen, CEO and co-founder of Amplifiles. "We took the cost out, so every listing can have one. This funding is about reaching the agents and photographers who haven't heard that yet."
The round was led by Gorilla Capital, a Finnish venture fund known for backing capital-efficient founders. For partner Petri Lehmuskoski, the decision came down to how far the team had gotten on its own.
"Amplifiles has grown to a real customer base in North America from Tampere, with a small and experienced team and very little capital," says Petri Lehmuskoski, Partner at Gorilla Capital. "That kind of efficiency doesn't happen by accident. It comes from founders who have done this before and who stay close to the people actually using the product. That discipline is what makes companies durable, and it's what we back."
